Course Overview

The 12-week program covers the fundamentals of singing and incorporates performance-based learning approach. The curriculum is also designed to develop child's social and cognitive skills.

WEEKLY STRUCTURE

Introduction to Vocal anatomy

  • Learn the fundamentals of singing like breathing, diction and solfege.
  • Practice diaphragm strengthening exercises and know how different mouth shapes produce sound.

  • Get introduced to hand signs and its correlation with solfege.
  • Hand signs encourages inner hearing and helps differentiate pitch intervals.

Vocal Workout Routine

  • Set your individuals goals!
  • Now develop your practice routines with warm up, breathing and hand sign exercises essential for vocal training.

Sol-Mi Interval

  • Get introduced to the solfege sol and mi and learn the transition between the two by practicing multiple songs.
  • Focus on concepts like pitch identification, melody and hand-eye coordination.

Rhythms - I

  • Learn about rhythmic values and counting different values using worksheets.
  • Practice the rhythmic values in different combinations followed by its application in a song.

  • Work on rests and understanding of tempo with the song.
  • Practice various combinations of rhythmic notes, rests and start practicing with a metronome.

Is the trial class free? Yes! We want all kids to have a first hand experience of Allround experience and so we don't charge for the trial classes.
What if my child does not like the course or teacher? Please reach out to the Allround Student Coordinators through chat or email and we'll be happy to help. Generally all courses are fully refundable before the second session (unless specified otherwise), please let us know then if you are unhappy for any reason.
